Indiana Kayak Bass Nation Announces 2026 State Championship Location: Brookville Lake
Indiana Kayak Bass Nation is proud to announce that the inaugural INKBN State Championship will be held at Brookville Lake for the 2026 season — a fitting stage to crown the first-ever Indiana Kayak Bass Nation State Champion.
Located in eastern Indiana, Brookville Lake is widely regarded as one of Indiana’s premier bass fisheries. With its deep, clear water, expansive timber, rocky structure, and strong populations of largemouth, smallmouth, and spotted bass, Brookville rewards anglers who can adapt and perform when it matters most — making it an ideal championship venue.
Built by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers in the early 1970s for flood control along the Whitewater River, Brookville Lake has developed a long-standing reputation as a consistent producer of quality bass and a frequent host to high-level tournament competition.
