Tournament Schedule

Compete in 4 regular season tournaments throughout the year. Each event counts toward your overall AOY standing.

Points System

Points awarded based on finish position. 1st place: 100 pts, 2nd: 99 pts, and so on. Consistent performance is key!

Scoring Method

Your best 3 tournament finishes count toward AOY. This allows one drop tournament for flexibility.

Eligibility

All paid INKBN members in good standing are eligible to compete for AOY.

Tiebreaker Rules

In case of tie: 1) Most 1st place finishes, 2) Most 2nd place finishes, 3) Head-to-head results.

Awards & Prizes

The top angler in points will receive a custom Angler of the Year trophy and the AOY holdback payout. Additional prizes to be announced.

CHAMPIONSHIP QUALIFICATIONS

Top 10 Finishers Per Event

Qualify by placing in the top 10 at any regular season event
  • Must finish in top 10 positions at any sanctioned event

  • Qualification valid for current season championship

  • Roll downs with not be awarded in the event that an angler(s) have multiple top 10 Finishes

Top 50% of AOY Standings

Qualify by ranking in the top half of Angler of the Year standings
  • Must be in top 50% of AOY points standings at cutoff date

  • Points accumulated from your top 3 qualifying events

  • Final standings determined before championship registration
